Attorney Ralph E. Houseman was admitted to the bar for the State of Wisconsin in 1939 and
also practices in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Education:
Attorney Houseman received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in
1937, and his law degree from Marquette University
in 1939.
Areas of Practice:
Attorney Houseman's main
areas of practice are municipal law, estate planning, and elder law. Attorney Houseman also received his B.C. from the Graduate School of
Business Administration of Harvard University in 1944.
Notable Accomplishments & Community Involvement:
In the area of municipal law, Attorney Houseman authored a comment on municipal
borrowing for The Municipality magazine in 1961 and a comment on "Conducting
Orderly Meetings" for The Municipality in 1972. Attorney Houseman served as the
attorney for the Grafton School District from 1954 -1976 and as Village Attorney
for the Village of Grafton from 1955 - 1992. He served as Village Attorney for
the Village of Thiensville from 1956 - 1976. Attorney Houseman also served in
the military for the U.S. Navy from 1942 - 1946 and as a Lieutenant for the Navy
from 1952 - 1953. Attorney Houseman is also the author of Call to the Colors
which was published in 2002.
Attorney Houseman is married and resides in
Thiensville, Wisconsin.
