ethics created by the Wisconsin Supreme Court require us to
explain to our clients what this means to them. Our status
as a limited liability partnership should have no effect on
our relationship with you. The only time this status could
affect you is in the case of malpractice. Only that attorney
who performs the work for the client in a Limited Liability
Partnership may be held personally liable for malpractice.
His or her other partners in the Limited Liability
Partnership are not liable. The rules of the Supreme Court
of the State of Wisconsin require that our firm carry
malpractice insurance of at least $500,000 per occurrence
and $1,000,000 per year. Our firm's coverage exceeds those
requirements. We are confident that our firm will continue
